Quantum Witch - New UK-made retro adventure game!

Post by LunarLoony »

If you hang around the same sort of circles I do, you may have heard of UK streaming couple Nikki and Bunty. Well, they (or, Nikki, at least) have come up with a LucasArts-esque adventure game called Quantum Witch!
And appropriately enough for Pride Month, it's apparently very queer. :flagally:

They've put a little gameplay teaser up on YouTube:

Worth keeping an eye out for, I've been loosely following its development and it looks like it'll shape up quite nicely.

Oh nice! Love me a point and click, definitely don’t play them enough though 😅

I worry that they are a dieing breed.
Have you played the new Monkey Island, or going even further back, Thimbleweed Park?

Both are very good, I haven't completed the new Monkey Isand though, i think I'm past its halfway point though, but can't be sure.

I was about to say that they were a dying breed once upon a time, but I can't actually think of a time where we haven't had point-and-clicks, or any sort of adventure game in that style. There's tons of stuff going on in the indie space - including the likes of the Adventure Jam.
